The Team

We are a small team working on a problem that has needed solving for a long time.

We came to this work from different directions. We stayed because the problem is real, the gap is large, and the technology to close it now exists.

Cindy Hui - Strategy and Partnerships

Cindy leads enterprise AI strategy, commercialization, and partnerships for Heal Mary. Her background spans startups through senior roles at Microsoft, with a focus on AI implementation in health and public sector environments. She understands how health systems buy, what procurement decision-makers need, and how to build the commercial relationships that turn a validated platform into a scaled one.

She has navigated the health system as both a patient and a caregiver across cancer, dementia, cardiac, and Alzheimer's journeys. That proximity to the problem shapes how the platform is built and who it is built for.

Cassandra Hui - Product

Cassie brings over a decade of product and application development experience in life sciences. She co-designed TalkLikeMe directly with Dania Care Society's clinical staff, ensuring the product reflects how care teams actually work, not how we imagined they do.

She leads product development across the IHCP platform, bringing a clinical, regulatory, and operational understanding of what it takes to get technology into healthcare settings and keep it there.

Her work has been featured in the Vancouver Tech Journal, MobiHealthNews, and the Canadian AI Conference.

Emad Mohammed - Technology

Emad holds a PhD in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary and leads technical architecture across the IHCP platform. His research background spans biomedical engineering, AI, and machine learning. His work has been published and presented at the Canadian AI Conference.

He built the sovereign AI stack that makes IHCP clinically deployable: PHI-safe, dementia-tuned, multilingual, and independent of third-party APIs. This is not adapted technology. It is purpose-built.

What We Have Lived

Between us, we carry firsthand experience of navigating systems in more than one language: of being a multilingual speaker in a clinical or institutional context where the translation exists but the understanding does not. Of being a woman whose distress a system was not designed to register. Of watching a family member disappear into a system that had no way in.

We did not arrive at this problem through market research. That proximity shapes every decision we make.
